Species notes
Polyrhachis dives builds communal silk nests using larvae as living shuttles — give the colony living or artificial plants to anchor against and they will weave within weeks.
Polygynous colonies (multiple queens) grow fast and recover well, which makes them more forgiving than their reputation suggests.
