Species notes
Camponotus nicobarensis is the standard recommendation for a first formicarium: colonies grow quickly at 24–28 °C, take sugars and insect protein readily, and tolerate beginner mistakes.
We export queens with founding workers (5–15) or established colonies of 50+, each health-checked and shipped in secure founding tubes.
No diapause required — this species keeps growing year-round at room temperature.
